EmployeeBee is an HR and workforce management platform. When you use our services, we may process information about account owners, administrators, employees, contractors, and job applicants.

In many cases, your employer or organization is the data controller, and EmployeeBee acts as a data processor on their behalf. For our own website, billing, marketing, and support operations, EmployeeBee may act as a data controller.

  • HR records submitted by customers, including employment details, leave balances, compensation references, and attendance logs.
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and usage analytics.
  • Support and communication data, including messages, attachments, and feedback submitted to our support team.
  • Billing and transaction details for subscription management and fraud prevention.

How We Use Data

  • Provide, maintain, and improve EmployeeBee services.
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, and detect suspicious activity.
  • Deliver support, communicate product updates, and respond to requests.
  • Process payments, invoices, and subscription lifecycle actions.
  • Generate aggregate analytics to enhance product experience and reliability.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

How We Share Data

We do not sell personal data. We may share data in the following situations:

  • With service providers who support hosting, analytics, customer support, billing, and infrastructure operations.
  • With your organization and authorized administrators using the EmployeeBee workspace.
  • With legal authorities when required by law, subpoena, or enforceable governmental request.
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or business transfer, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Data Retention

We retain data for as long as needed to provide services, fulfill contractual obligations, and satisfy legal requirements. Retention periods vary by data type and customer configuration.

When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our retention and backup policies.

Security

EmployeeBee applies technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, logging, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We continuously improve our controls, but cannot guarantee absolute security.
